It is time to say goodbye to plastic wrap, sandwich bags and bulky storage containers!
Beeswax wraps are made from beeswax and organic cotton, the Bees wrap acts as a natural alternative to plastic cling film and aluminum foils. The beeswax wraps are good for food. They do not hold smells or bacteria. Beeswax wraps are also the best option for those looking for an alternative to plastic food storage because they can be used over and over again.
Bees Wax Wraps Ireland is a great way to go green by using Beeswax wraps rather than cling film or aluminum foil. Beeswax wraps are used for many things. You can use them to cover food that you don’t want to eat right away, or wrap cheese.
How to take care of Beewax wraps?
Our Beeswax wraps and bags are a Sustainable, natural alternative to plastic wrap, and sandwich bags. Â Our Wraps are biodegradable, and they smell delicious! Beeswax wraps clean your fruit and veggies. You can wipe them down with a little water, or rub gently to remove grime before placing the wrap on the food item and storing it in the fridge.
Beeswax wraps are very easy to take care of. All you need is some warm water and a little bit of mild detergent – I always use our Nourishing Washing Up Liquid. Pop your wrap in the sink or bowl full of water, then give it a good scrub if necessary!
Rinse off any excess soap with cold water and then simply hang your wrap to dry. Beeswax wraps can take a while to dry so it’s great if you have a spot by the window where they get plenty of sun, or you can pop them on a drying rack or line.Â
Once they’re completely dry, store your wraps as you would linens, such as tablecloths or tea towels. Beeswax wraps are strong and do not rip easily.
If something gets on a wrap that you can’t clean off, don’t put it in the washing machine. Simply scrub with some warm water and detergent and then hang to dry.
